Web community

UDENTE is at the heart of a global community for the dental profession. By sharing common goals, resources and tools, economy of scale can be realised without loss of quality in the educational experience. The web community will build upon individual excellence but will maintain each contributor’s identity and uniqueness. It will celebrate diversity but also recognise commonality of purpose. The development of this community will inform educational research and best practice.

Enhancing the face-to-face experience of students

Now that so much time, money and intellectual expertise has been invested in delivering the world’s first virtual dental school, I would like to see as many schools across the world benefit from it. The potential is enormous for collaborative learning by sharing knowledge and expertise in these new exciting learning environments. These new developments are designed to enhance the face-to-face experience of students at the chairside in a blended and media rich approach.
